Balbriggan is an Irish town located on the coast of the province of Leinster. The town is one of the fastest growing towns in Ireland and has a population of 21,722. It is also one of the most multicultural towns, with around 30% of the population made up of non-Irish ethnicities. Due to its location on the coast, the town once used to be a popular holiday destination for the people from Dublin. Surrounding the town are interesting historical sites, one of them being Bremore Castle, a large tower house estimated to have been built in the 14th century.
